Amanozako:
Card Title: The Wish Weaver
Demon Queen of the Sixth Circle Diabolik; can grant wishes in exchange for wisher's life energy.

The DemonQueen had ambitions to rule all Nine Circles of the Hell Realms. She left her plane and travelled to the First Circle working her way down, amassing an army along the way. A contingent of Demons sent from the Eighth Circle sought to stomp out her rebellion before it started, but she was able to persuade one of them to turn against his brothers and join her. With the monstrous giant, Brimstone now on her side, she no longer hid her intentions as her army grew. She also made it a point to dispatch those who could possibly be a threat because they refused to rally under her banner. By the time she made her way to the Seventh Circle, she came across a Tormenter known as Etrigan. She attempted to recruit The Demon, but he refused. In her attempts to make sure he would not rally against her in the future, she had her legions attack him. During the battle, a portal opened up to Earth, where they became embroiled in a conflict involving mortals and Angels. A Japanese immortal produced a deck of blank enchanted cards and the combatants began to be absorbed into them. Thousands of years later, trapped in the Tenshu Obake Karuta Deck, she was able to build up enough power to exert some influence over her current cardholder. She devised a plan to have her proxy summon a powerful enough demon that was capable of opening a Hellmouth, and release one the most powerful demon sorcerers to help free her from her card, so that she could not only conquer Hell, but Earth as well. The spell was interrupted by Shoki Chikamoto, who used an enchanted dagger to close the Hellmouth, but not before 113 souls had escaped from the Hell Realms. The sorcerer she sought was now on earth, and she had to find a way to get to him before Shoki, now transformed into Blue Devil, banished him back to whence he came, leaving Amanozako trapped.




Kid Eternity: Hiroshi Tsuchimikado
Onmyoji; summoner of sprits known as shikigami that can take the shape of any person deceased.

Onmyōji were specialists in magic and divination. Their court responsibilities ranged from tasks such as keeping track of the calendar, to mystical duties such as divination and protection of the capital from evil spirits. They could divine auspicious or harmful influences in the earth, and were instrumental in the moving of capitals. It is said that an onmyōji could also summon and control shikigami. A descendant of the famous Tsuchimikado Clan of Onmyōdō practicioners living in feudal Japan, Hiroshi was wrongly killed before his time during the mission of a time displaced adventurer. As he had yet to fulfill a destiny that was preordained, he was granted leave to return to earth to carry out his task. However, on his return to the land of the living, he was spirited away by an unknown powerful force. Hiroshi wound up in one of the Hell Realms, and due to his abilities was kept captive and forced to perform in his official capacity for one of the Demon Princes for hundreds of years (by our time). After numerous TOK battles, Amanozako would be returned to the Hell Realm from whence she was spawned, however still bound to her card prison. Having more power at her disposal in Hell, she discovered the ability to project herself astrally, but forced to remain within the card's proximity. she would attempt to locate and acquire this legendary onmyoji to continue her goal of freedom and conquest of Hell. A team of Teen Titans would be sent on a mission to retrieve a mysterious item of grave importance that would have them cross paths with The Wishweaver and the Onmyoji.


Ukajonama:
Oni; Magic user, can alter reality to annoy mortals for his own amusement.

The impish demon hails from the fifth circle of the Hell Realms. He is the very spirit of contrariness and perversity. An invariably wicked being, he lives to torment and frustrate people in order to amuse himself. he can read people and instigate their desires to ensure they get the exact opposite of what they want. he can be stopped only by tricking him into saying or spelling his true name (Ukajonama backwards; Amanojaku) which will return him to his home in the 5th circle and keep him there for a minimum of 3 months and all effects of his magic vanish, making everything as it was before he appeared. He initially fled the hell realms when he refused to join his sister's crusade to conquer the Nine Circles and realized that offense was punishable by death. He steers clear of her as not to incur her wrath.


- In the Tenshu Obake Karuta game, Amanozako can grant wishes at the expense of the player's Life Points. The bigger the wish , the more extensive the drain. She is what is referred to as a Support Card, as opposed to a Battle Card or Booster Card.
- Amanozako, an actual demon of Japanese folklore, is my version of Neron. I based her design on an image of an Elf Sorceress I found on the net.
- The name of the blue skinned demon that was summoned to open the Hellmouth, and was killed by Shoki Chikamoto, was Belial.
- The demon sorcerer that Amanozako wished freed from Hell in order to release her from her prison is, Nebiros.
- Amanojaku is also from Japanese folklore, and is the older, but less powerful brother of Amanozako. He is my version of Mr. Mxyzptlk. I substituted the 5th dimension for the 5th circle of Hell.
- Ukajonama/Amanojaku is unique in his skill at finding ways in and out of Hell. His sister hates him for it.
-Ukajonama will cross paths frequently with Superman. He takes it personal when the Man of Steel figures out how to banish him.
- Tsuchimikado is the surname of a Japanese clan, which owes its roots to Abe no Seimei, an onmyōji during the middle of the Heian Period in Japan, In addition to his prominence in history, he is a legendary figure in Japanese folklore for working as onmyōji for emperors and the Heian government.
- Hiroshi Aramata wrote a novel centering on the Tsuchimikado Clan. I chose to combine the two to name Kid Eternity.
- I chose to abandon the retcon of Kid Eternity that made him the long lost brother of Freddy Freeman, aka Captain Marvel Jr.
- Kid Eternity shouts the word, "Ichigomatsudai" to summon his shikigami warriors. It translates as "Eternity", or to be more exact, "this world and the next".
- Kid Eternity's design came from an image of characters from Bleach.
- Amanojaku is dressed like a traditional Oni.
- When the magic cards began to absorb the warriors from the ancient battleground, one card began to absorb the energies that made up the portal to the Hell Realms; when the cards were made into the Tenshu Obake Karuta Deck, this card became known as the Get Out of Hell Free Card, with the power to resurrect one fallen monster within the game. When the true magic of the Card became known in modern times, several parties became interested in claiming it for their own purposes, including...

Amanozako (who seeks to free herself from her card prison),
The Birds of Prey (with Hawkgirl leading them to destroy the Card),
The Secret Six (under the orders of Onishusoku, the Demon's Head),
Blue Devil (to keep the Card out of Amanozako's or any other fiend's grasp),
Etrigan (to free himself from being bound to the human Jason Blood),
and the Agents of Apokolips (for Lord Darkseid to release and control the demon card; Brimstone, The Destroyer).
