MangaDCU: Even More Captains

designs of some of the replacement Captains of Industry and Captains of Infamy! when the COI were freed by tripple agent Captain Fear, captains cold and boomerang realized that although they were ok with braking the law, they really didn't want anyone to suffer...other than Flash. they help their former comrades in the COI take down the COinfamy and were given a onetime chance to walk away from the scene when it was over.

Captain Action: Clive Arno (substitute for Captain Comet)
(Europe )Master of disguise, coins of power

While on an undercover mission for Her Majesty's Secret Service, an agent used the cover ID of Clive Arno, archeologist. He was part of a team that was researching a hidden city that the Nazi Third Reich believed would help them win the war and rule the world. project leader Krellik located the city, as well as the artifact he was looking for. that night, "Arno" snuck in to sabotage the weapon, but was discovered by Krellik and his security team. a firefight ensued and while trying to flee, the agent tripped over a discarded box full of ancient coins. the Nazis fired at the man on the floor, but the bullets melted in midair before reaching him. dumbfounded, he looked and saw his hand was on one of the coins. he looked at it and there was an image of Hephaestus on it. he fought back with his newfound power that the coin granted him until the power ran out. he was then shot in the chest. Krellik tried to retrieve as many of the coins as he could, because the display of power the agent exhibited caused extensive structural damage and the place was about to come down. he took what he could and fled. as the cave collapsed, the agent was able to get his fingertip on one of the coins which actually transported him away from the location back to Europe...but 30 years into the future. he recovered and learned that the war was over, but the coins and Krellik were never recovered. he returned to active duty as he had a few of the coins still in his possession. He went by the code name Captain Action. For years, Captain Action would be the top spy using the Proteus Coin to assist in his disguise skills. the same Kronos Coin that saved his life prolonged it as well. He would maintain the cover of Arno, but as his son to try and relocate the lost city. in recent years, he began to investigate the rumors of an organization called The New Pantheon, a European crime syndicate, where the leaders utilize magic coins that grant the possessor the powers of a Greek God. Greek Philanthropist Maximillian Zeus, is the ringleader and user of the Zeus Coin. his personal bodyguard/assassin, Daikoku, an exiled samurai from the Hidden Regions of Japan (home of the Batman), stole the Prometheus Coin; this gave him the power to see 3 seconds into the future. He steals tech from different locations to make a battlesuit and goes by the name Prometheus.

Captain Acrata: Andrea Rojas (replacement for Captain Fear)

Andrea Rojas' father Bernardo was a big time politician in Mexico. He was also a big time drug trafficker. When his rivals stormed his house to assassinate him, one of his guards made sure his daughter made it out alive. The guard, however was not so lucky. After a rough period of being on her own in the streets, Andrea eventually was able to reconnect with her mother in Costa Rica, and grew up there, but never forgot what she survived. When she was old enough, she returned to Mexico with and ancient Mayan symbol that granted her the ability to move through shadows, as well as other abilities. she began taking out drug lords trying to get close enough to the one who ordered her father's death and reveal the masked man who actually did the deed. She met a man who she grew close to, against her better judgment (as she had a mission to complete). when she finally gave in, and dropped her guard, a team of assassins came to take them out while they slept. she was able to kill the assassins, but she discovered that her lover was part of the cartel trying to kill her. she fled, but later realized that he was unaware she was the assassin he was trying to take out. once the cartel knew her identity, they used him as bait and when she came in, they told her they had already sent killers to take out her mother & killed him in front of her. she snapped and killed everyone in the compound. she then went on an all out war with the cartel and whomever got in her way. she was recruited into the Captains of Infamy by Captain Hunter who told her he would reveal her father's slayer as payment for joining.

Captain Yeti: Kang Admi (replacement for Captain Cold)
(Antarctica) Cryptid Hibagon(bigfoot); enhanced strength & durability, cold generating breath

Kang Admi was part of a research enclave that was conducting multiple studies on the continent of Antarctica. biologist, geologists, astronomers, and glaciologists all worked together to funnel their findings back to the home base of the corporation that was funding the expedition. on one of the trips into the frozen wilderness, a team became stranded. injured, freezing and starving, they tried to find food and came upon the recent corpse of a large furred animal that they had never seen. rather than wait for rescue they cut up the animal, and took the meat back to their makeshift shelter. no one asked what the meat was, they just ate it. two days later a rescue party arrived and the team they found showed no signs of exposure or injuries. they went back to base camp and immediately tests were run on them. they were all stronger and in better health than they were when they left. over the next few days, they started exhibiting strange behavior and aggressive tendencies. they all became very territorial, and finally one snapped and killed a fellow scientist for borrowing a microscope. it turned out that the animal they had eaten was a yeti and they were all becoming the same creatures. as the full transformation kicked in, the yetis began to slaughter & eat the scientists, and when there were no more, they turned on each other. the last surviving one was Kang. the research and footage was sent back to the main lab and the project was forgotten about after they claimed the facility was lost in an avalanche. Captain Calamity recruited the Yeti after a brief physical confrontation.

Captain Walkabout: Maliki Ngurakin (replacement for Captain Boomerang)
(Australia) Teleporter, dreamscape abilities

A disturbance in the Dreamtime, another plane of reality where aboriginal Australians mentally go on spiritual quests, opened a small portal into the real world for a brief time. poachers were chasing a wild wounded dingo that attacked a baby, and it ran through the portal rather than get killed by the men. the dingo's physical body was awash with the realms energies and reality warping properties of them, and it changed over time. its mind was altered as well, as it became attuned to what was referred to as the Songlines. Eventually, the dingo returned to the Outback with the ability to walk between both worlds. it sought out the poachers that once tried to kill him and attacked them with their worst nightmares come to life. he resided in an area of the outback that people didnt go to due to the strange happenings. The dingo accepted the invitation to join the Captains of Infamy offered by Captain Nazi simply because he had nothing better to do.
