Happy New Year DA (even if it's a month in...)! Putting an emphasis on the new.  For the overwhelming majority of my time on DeviantArt, I have mainly focused on the Manga DCUniverse project.  It has fascinated me since I was first introduced to the concept and still does. However from the content of my portfolio, you would believe that I was primarily a DC fan growing up...that would not be an accurate assessment.  I consider myself a fan of comics...period. I've read everything from the major labels to various independents.  I was around for the start of both image Comics and Milestone media, a fan of Elfquest, Dredstar, Mage: The Hero Defi

Questions about Marvel + Star Wars:

What are Electro and Rhino like?

What different species are the X-men so far (they’re my second favorite thing about Marvel)?

Electro will be a member of the Mikkian species, and will be a failed Jedi, who due to his poor aptitude at wielding the Force will seek to enhance his abilities and become imbued with artificial Force Lightning generated by a device engineered by Doc Ock.


Rhino will actually be an anthropomorphic Mudhorn (based on the creature seen in Season One of The Mandlorian) that was also the result of experimentation conducted by Dr. Octavius.


I’ll provide more info on some of the X-men hopefully in the near future.

To be honest, I haven’t considered Electro yet. Rhino will emulate the Mudhorn creature introduced in Mando season one. The X-men will be represented by a variety of rare or extinct species as well as mutations that combine traits of established ones. I mention them (mutants) in the Bounty Hunters pic I recently posted.
